Zelda (meaning dark battle/strong woman) got her name because she was found by animal control in a nasty situation. She was abandoned without food or water for a significant period of time and was infested with fleas. She also had a terrible Upper Respiratory Infection that she has had a very hard time getting rid of. She will more than likely have flare ups for the rest of her life. When she has a flare up (sneezing and a runny nose) she will need to be nebulized (all instructions & guidance will be provided by foster family). Because of this she needs an adopter that’s comfortable with her special needs and will provide vet care when needed. Despite Zelda’s rough start to life she is very energetic and loves to explore. She tends to be shy at first but will come investigate if you lay on the floor with her. Her favorite activity is playing with packing paper! She also loves to burrow under blankets. Zelda has the cutest binkies ever! She puts her whole soul into it!??
