Hi, I'm Kaiya! I'm a big girl with some big needs! After living in a breeding situation outdoors, I came to rescue and discovered how awesome living indoors as a house rabbit is!

I came to rescue because I was born with a disability where my parts aren't all set up how they should be. I've had lots of tests like endoscopy, contrast radiography, bladder tone tests... unfortunately my bladder doesn't work right and it's not something the vets can fix for me. The good news is I've been spayed and I know how to use my litterbox! But the bad news is I also leak some urine.

I have to live on absorbent washable floor pads (my foster mom says she does my laundry twice a week!) and my rear end needs help with grooming so I don't end up with urine scald. Since I'm completely mobile and understand my litterbox, this special work is definitely more than most bunnies need, but I'm not too disabled to clean myself and get around just fine. I do take pain medication daily to keep me comfortable.

I'm the biggest happiest most curious girl. If you are in my room, I'm bopping over there to get lots of pets, and if you don't give them to me, I'll nibble your feet for attention! I like to unroll the toilet paper and get in the trash and remove wallpaper, so my foster family says I need bunnyproofing. I'm all ears when it comes to the chance for treats, and I'll come running and throw myself against the gate to beg for a snack no matter what time of day or night!

I'm glad I live with a very special family who can provide the housing and grooming I need, and I even have a neighbor bunny friend. I'm a big fun personality and lucky to have good care!
