Gwen came to us from a confiscation severely matted and filthy, requiring a sedated grooming to safely remove all of the mats and debris from her beautiful Angora coat. Since arriving at IHRS, she has been spayed, vaccinated, and treated for a URI. We have been closely monitoring her for any recurring symptoms, and thankfully, she has had no further complications.

Now that she’s feeling better, Gwen is living her best life! She loves pets, attention, zoomies, and—of course—eating! She is a curious girl who enjoys having lots of enrichment to keep her busy, especially snuffle mats and foraging boxes.

Gwen is also a very tidy bunny and so far has shown no interest in chewing or destroying things. Her favorite activities are exploring, eating, and getting her zoomies out!

As an Angora, Gwen requires frequent, ongoing grooming, which isn’t exactly her favorite activity. We are working on helping her become more comfortable with brushing, and her adopter will need to be committed to keeping up with her coat care.

After everything Gwen has been through, it is wonderful to see her happy, healthy, and enjoying life.
Gwen is now available for adoption!
