Meet Scarlet!

Scarlet is one of those rabbits who reminds us that trust isn't given overnight—it's earned. And watching her discover that she's safe has been one of the greatest joys of fostering.

After a difficult start before coming to Indiana House Rabbit Society, Scarlet is slowly but surely learning that house rabbit life is pretty wonderful.

She's naturally curious and loves to explore every inch of her space. Whether she's investigating a new toy, hopping through her pen, or checking in on what her foster mom is doing, Scarlet is always on a little adventure.

While she's still a bit shy, she's getting braver every day. She's not quite ready for head pets yet, but she's found her own sweet way of showing affection. Scarlet will happily hop over to give her foster mom an adorable little nose boop... and then dash away as if to say, That's enough love for now!

Scarlet is also a girl who knows exactly what she likes:
-She's incredibly food motivated.
-She's not a picky eater and enthusiastically devours every salad that's offered.
-She loves to play and explore.
-And every afternoon, you'll find her curled up in her cozy tent, enjoying a well-earned nap.

Every day, Scarlet grows a little more confident. Every day, she takes another small step toward trusting the people around her.

She's making up for lost time, and it's a privilege to watch.

If you have a patient heart and love celebrating the little victories, Scarlet will reward you with the incredible experience of watching a shy rabbit blossom into a confident companion.

Could you be the one to help write the next chapter of Scarlet's story?
