Hello. My name is Chai! I came to IHRS when I almost did not make it out of the shelter alive :’{. I was in a cage and hands were coming at me. That was scary, I was cranky and nobody would listen to me!!!

Now that I have had time to destress from the shelter, I am incredibly sweet and love to be loved on. I enjoy being pet on my head. As long as you give me the correct space required for me I will be happy!

I love my healthy diet and tend to savor my food. I don’t normally eat fast! I think it is funny to dump my food bowl, hahahaha!

I need a forever home where I get the time I need to settle in and get a lot of your time and attention. Are you my forever family?
