Hi, I’m Georgia!
I’m proud to be IHRS’s 1500th rescue, and wow—am I ever grateful! My journey started when I was found outside. I darted out in front of a car, and luckily the driver realized I wasn’t a wild bunny and stopped to scoop me up. They knew I needed help right away and contacted IHRS.

I was in rough shape: just six weeks old, with a severely ulcerated eye sealed shut, bite marks on my back, and parasites. I spent the next two months visiting my vet friends often. They healed my eye as best they could, but it just didn’t develop properly—so I had it removed. The good news? It doesn’t bother me at all now!

Now that I’m all healed, I’m making up for lost time. I am everything rabbit: I zoom, I binky, I dig, chew, jump, and play with toys. I also like my naps during the day.

Because of my eye, I’ll need a special adopter who is ready to bunny-proof like a pro. I run with such excitement that I sometimes crash into things—so a safe space is a must! Even though I had a tough start, you’d never guess it. I’m super friendly, love attention, and can’t get enough pets. Just remember to approach me from my good side—I get startled easily and may lunge if I’m surprised. I also prefer when you’re down at my level—I’ll come right up and put my nose in your face!

I’m ready to find my forever family. Could it be you?
