Hi I’m Georgia! I was IHRS’s 1500th rescue and Wow, am I grateful! I was found outside in early spring. I ran out in front of someone’s car and they recognized that I was not a wild rabbit and stopped to pick me up. They knew I needed immediate care and contacted IHRS. I was very sick, I had one eye that was completely sealed shut with due to a major ulcer, I had bite marks on my back, I had parasites and I was no more than 6 weeks old. I spent the next 2 months going to see my vet friends a lot for my eye. They got the parasites & the ulcer all cleared up but unfortunately my eye just wasn’t developing right so I had to have it removed, but it’s ok, it doesn’t bother me anymore! Now that I’m all healed and not sick anymore I’m making up for lost time! I am everything rabbit! I zoom, binky, jump, dig, chew, and play with toys all day. My foster mom calls me her little energizer bunny! I am going to need a special adoptor that will be patient and take the extra time to bunny proof to keep me safe. I have a lot of energy and love to run. I get super excited and can easily crash into things. Even though I had a rough start, you would never know. I am a very friendly bunny that craves attention and loves to be pet. I am all better now & ready to meet my forever family now!
