Adira is one lucky bunny, confiscated by animal control after having been abandoned in a very small cage without food or water for a significant period of time. She was incredibly shut down when she arrived. Now she is ALL ABOUT being in foster care!

Adira is a curious rabbit who wants to be in the middle of what you are doing. She loves pelleted food, hay, and SALADS, wondering where these have been her entire life! Even before spay, she had very good litterbox habits. Adira loves to be petted, she cannot get enough! She is also one of those 0.1% of the population rabbits that loves to be cuddled.

This lovely bunny package comes with some qualfiers. Adira had a very bad upper respiratory infection when she arrived to foster care. We have worked hard over the last two months to get Adira to a point where she is stable and symptom free. Due to the severity of her congestion, she may occasionally have flares that need to be managed with nebulization and/or antibiotic injections. Routine veterinary care is important for all rabbits, for Adira it will be super critical to keep her healthy. Do you have the bank account and desire to keep Adira healthy?

Hi, my name is Betsy, I was found in a cage by a dumpster in Kentucky. I am so happy to be a house rabbit!

I love food, any kind of food. My foster family cannot resist me when when I stand up and beg for treats :)

Like almost all bunnies, I do not like being picked up, I like all four feet on the floor. I love to be petted once I get to know you.

I have great litterbox habits and would be a good candidate as a free roaming bunny. I am an intrepid explorer and need a big space to explore. I am brave, you will need to bunny proof or fence off any area you do not want me to be.

I am interested in the “boy next door” and may like a bunny companion. I would also do just fine as a single rabbit.

I would love to take over your heart and home <3. Are you my forever family?

Hi, I’m Bordeaux. I was found dumped outside. I surprised my foster mom with babies a few hours later. I was very shy at first but really appreciated having a steady (healthy) diet while I took care of my babies. I started to come out of my shell when I felt safe and binky all over the place. I am still bonded to my daughter Gabi. We will probably do better in a quiet house. I get along with cats & prefer to let me approach you. We can’t wait to find our forever home!

Hi I’m Brendan. I was born in foster care and boy am I lucky! My mom and dad were found dumped outside. Mom had me and my siblings hours later. The next couple days were below freezing. My siblings and I would not have made it in those temperatures! I’m still very young and have lots of energy! I stayed with my mom & siblings for as long as possible and would probably like a friend. Once I’m comfortable I’m pretty adventurous but like I mentioned, my mom was dumped outside, so she was pretty scared of everyone. Because of that, my siblings and I are kind of shy. I prefer that you’re down on my level and you have treats in your hand if you want to pet me. I still have some growing to do but I’m excited to find my forever family and settle in!

Hi, I'm Cagney and I'm best friends with my sister Lacey! We are big bunnies with big personalities. We love to be hugged by our foster mom, she cradles us on the floor and rubs her face on our foreheads. We love to be petted and follow our foster mom around the room.

We love our daily run time a lot. We are adventurous, running through crinkle tunnels, run up and down ramps, we like to jump up on things, and do the best binkies! We could be great sit on the couch and hang out with you bunnies. We love to chew on willow baskets, willow cubes, and any other types of toys we can deconstruct.

Are you are our forever family?

Hi everyone! My name is Chomp. My friend and I were dumped in the middle of winter along the White River in downtown Indianapolis. Thankfully some nice people from the bunny rescue caught us, we spent a week at the shelter, and then the bunny rescue came to bring us to foster care!
I'm learning fast to use my litterbox, and I love to greet everyone who comes past my pen. I'm still getting used to people, so I'm not sure what kind of family I want yet. I might be a bit too excited to be around young kids. I'd love to have lots of room to play!

Coco and four other rabbits were found wondering around a neighborhood in Merrillville, IN. Since is grateful to be a house rabbit and settled in quickly.

Coco is a very curious, social with both people and other rabbits, and loves to be petted. Her play area is full of toys and Coco bunstructed a custom made playhouse from a cardboard box. She is a very busy girl!

Coco would do well in a home where she has alot of space to run around and explore as she is full of energy.

Do you have space in your heart to give this cutie a forever home?

Hi, I'm Crepe! I'm new here and looking for my forever family I was born in a camp where my humans didn't have a home to live in so my mom and siblings and I were just roaming free outside. It was scary and I am very happy to be an indoor house bunny now. I am slightly shy with new people and places, but I'm curious and if you give me time, we might just be best friends. I have spent a lot of time with my brothers and sisters and might like a bunny friend someday.

Hi, I'm Cricket! I've been spayed and I'm looking for my forever family! I can be a little territorial when you touch my toys. As long as you don’t get offended if I grunt at you on occasion we can be friends. I will probably do best in a house without small children. I'm playful, I like being pet, and I'm good with my litter box. I can be a little skittish at first but would like you to be patient while I learn about you! I get along with my foster mom’s dog & have been taking cues from my other bunny friends in the room. I know to run in circles for treats now! I can’t wait to meet you.

I was just a little baby fending for myself with dozens of other rabbits in a suburban yard when I came into the rescue. Since then I have bonded with my best friend Jasper. We are quite the pair. Everyone that meets us smiles at our size difference. I am a gentle giant but my tiny husbun protects me. I can chill out all day but I also love to zoom and binky during play time. I’m good at sharing food & making sure Jasper gets enough to eat. If he is hangery he lets me know and I let him go first. In the past I have choked on pellets so we eat bigger pellets (Science Sellective) that are scattered and that helps me eat slowly. We love to play with toys. We’re ready to meet our forever family and settle in!

Florence was pulled from a local shelter when her time ran out. She had a prior rescue commitment that fell through, thankfully the shelter was flexible while they contacted Indiana HRS :)

Florence is a delightful bunny that is incredibly grateful for her spacious living space and nutritious diet. She is a little overweight due to her living conditions in her original home. Florence has learned to play with toys, run through her activity bench, and jump up on her activity bench and play “hide and seek” behind the bunny cut out. She was a little slow to accept hay, but loves it now! She is a pelleted food “grazer” not a “gobbler” and really looks forward to her daily salad. Given her housing history, she is a little wary of hands over her head or coming at her. This behavior has dramatically improved during her time in foster care and will get better and better when she learns to trust more people.

Florence is low maintenance bunny that would make a great free roaming candidate. In her foster home she has not been a digger and chews on her large variety of toys appropriately. Florence is warming up to being petted and will require a patient adopter. Could you be Florence’s dream come true?

Hi, I’m Gabi. I’m bonded to my mom Bordeaux. I’m shy at first but when I feel comfortable I like to run and binky all over. I get along with cats and would prefer a quiet house. I’m doing good with my litterbox & I’m a great hay eater. I can’t wait to find my forever home.

Hi I’m Gogi, I get along with other rabbits. I was previously bonded and lost my bun bestie unexpectedly. She was the brave one so I’m feeling extra shy. I have done well on bunny dates. I might like another bunny friend. I would rather not live in a busy, active home, I would be very overwhelmed. I am very active, I need lots of places to explore and run around and hidey spots if needed. I need an adopter that will be patient with me so I can relax in my new home.

Imala is one lucky bunny, confiscated by animal control after having been abandoned in a very small cage without food or water for a significant period of time. After eating and eating and eating and drinking and drinking and drinking, she settled into foster care and promptly took over the bunny room =:3

Imala is an incredibly busy bunny, she has a lot of run and play time to make up! She has the personality of a bubbly extrovert. She loves pelleted food, hay, and SALADS, wondering where these have been her entire life! She is still thin and needs to gain weight, so she is on a diet to help her gain weight. Now that she is spayed, Imala has very good litterbox habits.

Imala is still learning what being petted is all about. She is warming up and will require an adopter who is patient with animals that need time to trust. Imala is a busy bunny that will require B- bunny proofing. Can you provide Imala a home where she can continue to blossom?

Hi, I’m Jasper! I’m bonded to my best friend Eddie Hopper. Everyone that meets us says we’re adorable! Our size difference makes you smile right away. I’m the tiny one but I chose Eddie Hopper for my bunwife and I will protect her at all costs! We do enjoy pets. I will usually let my lady eat first and then I’ll join in but occasionally I will get hangery and chase her. She can join after I’ve had a couple bites. Shame on me, I know. We like to play with toys and enjoy our run time. Eddie Hopper has epic binkies! We’re ready for out forever home & would love to meet you!

Lofte is the Swedish word for promise. We promise that Lofte will always be in a home where she is safe and cherished.

Hi, my name is Lofte! I was abandoned in a filthy cage on the side of the road, I was starving and had lost all of the fur on my underside. My foster family is the BEST!! My foster mom says that I am a Cookie Monster :) My fur has completely grown back and i have gained weight.

I LOVE being petted! I also love following my foster family around. My foster mom says I am a perfect work from home buddy.

I am super curious about what you are doing in my space. I do not like it when you move my toys around and will be literally on top of you when you are in my space!! I love to dig and chew, so foster mom says I will need lots of enrichment and supervision.

I have a really big personality, which means they I need to have things my way. If I don’t, I will tell you all about it in ways that non-rabbit people might not understand. I would do best in a home with adults, possibly older children, who understand rabbits. I would prefer to be an only rabbit so that I get all of your attention.

I will need an adopter who will spend a TON of time with me, work to help me feel secure, continue to help me gain weight, and most importantly (to
me!) respect my space.

Poor Mariska was found dragging her leg, thin, dehydrated, and dirty in a field in Taylorsville Indiana. She was very lucky she didn't starve or get eaten by a predator. Our rescue took her in and vetted her the next day. While we don't know what trauma or illness caused her inability to use one rear leg and general muscle wasting, special recovery foster care allowed Mariska to really bloom! She became stronger and stronger over weeks, and now can hop again and get in a litterbox :D Mariska hops all over her nice big pen living space now that she's feeling so much better. Mariska may have some issues with her back leg over time, she hops a bit crooked which adds to her special charm, AND she has graduated to adoptable with appropriate medical care and support.

Mariska is spayed and has awesome litterbox habits provided she is not around other rabbits =:3. She is incredibly sweet, loves treatos (her foster mom calls them cookies!) and is beginning to appreciate being petted. Given how thin she was when she arrived, Mariska is a bit enthusiastic at food time which is easily managed.

Mariska will thrive in a home where she will be the only rabbit. She would be a lovely addition to a family who will cherish her and celebrate her victory over illness and being stray. Are you Mariska’s family?

With a rebellion that began as a stray, Nell found solice in a strange new place and deemed it worthy. So worthy, she had 8 healthy babies soon after becoming an indoor bun.

After settling in and baby rearing her calm sweet side took hold. Happy to snack in the sunshine and await pets. Nell has applied her street smarts to solving puzzles and seek out her hidden treats often followed by speedy binkies across the room. Nell is cautious in new places make her a little wary, but she quickly warms up and comes out to say hello.

Nell is ready for her forever home. Are you her forever family?

Hi, I'm Parker! I was found running loose in a public park in the winter as a baby. Thankfully a nice person caught me and got me fixed up at the vet! I'm very sweet and I like exploring. I do struggle with using my litterbox & that is something my new family will have to take into consideration. I’m sort of a messy boy but I make up for it because I’m a sweetheart and love pets. I need help cleaning my rear end sometimes. I have been to the vet many times and had lots of tests ran. There is nothing abnormal, I just need a little extra TLC. I love to run and binky. I am excited to find my forever home!

BONDED PAIR

Hi, I'm Petey! I'm bonded to my brother Razzle and we need to be adopted together. I'm still growing emotionally, but pretty well full grown size wise!

We love being together and sometimes launch WWIII in our pen as we chase each other and then freeze! We love to be petted, my brother somewhat more than I do. When given run time, we are both brave explorers who will occasionally surprise each other resulting in jumps and runs!

We are still learning our litterbox :)

Don't be fooled by her wild physique, Pita is a lap bun through and through! She demands pets and snuggles and will push her way past her sisters so she can secure her spot at the front. Always happy to roam around the house in search of a good sleep spot or a fun toy to toss around. Pita would very much enjoy a bunny companion to snuggle with.

Hi, I’m Xoliswa! I love being petted!! I run up to the front of my enclosure when my foster family is in my room and follow them around soliciting attention. I also love playing with toys, especially those that I can pick up and toss and fling :). I have a really sweet personality and enjoy being around people. I get along with older people, dogs, and other rabbits, I might want a bunny friend some day. I would rather not be left alone for long periods of time, I love being around people so much! I need an adopter or a family who will spend a lot of time with me. I have lots of attitude and am a pretty "forward" bunny; since I am pretty sassy and forward (and I'm also a big girl!), I don't do very well with children, I will probably do best in a home with adults who know how to speak bunny. An experienced bunny person would be my dream mom or dad!
